"Senior British ministers and officials have repeatedly made it clear to Germany that Ukraine desperately needs Taurus missiles," the publication writes.
"Germany has to stop making excuses," Bloomberg quoted an anonymous British official as saying.
The media reported that London had offered Berlin a deal in which Britain would provide Ukraine with more of its own Storm Shadow missiles, and Germany would give London its long-range Taurus missiles in exchange. Germany has not yet responded to this proposal.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has previously opposed the possible transfer of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, saying that it could drag the country into a war with Russia, as Berlin would not be able to control what targets would be achieved with the Taurus missiles.
Scholz said he would not agree with any decisions that could involve German soldiers in the war in Ukraine, Reuters reported.
"I will not support any decisions that could lead to German soldiers being involved in combat in any way in connection with Russia's terrible war against Ukraine," Scholz said in Munich.
The Taurus missile can reach speeds of up to 900 km/h and has a range of up to 500 km.
