The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 37.4 square km from occupiers over the past week.
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar.
In particular, 9 square km were de-occupied in the east, and 28.4 square km in the south. The defenders are advancing in the Bakhmut direction, however, the russians continue their offensive in the Lyman, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka sectors. The number of enemy shellings there has doubled over the past week.
In the South, the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out offensive actions in the Novodarivka – Pryiutne, Novodanylivka – Robotyne, Novosilka-Staromayorske directions, and have achieved success.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Defence Forces were successfully advancing in the Bakhmut axis. There are some difficulties with the offensive in the Berdiansk and Melitopol directions.
