Fresh sanctions from the EU: in the list of 160 Russians, including oligarchs, three Belarusian banks are disconnected from SWIFT
Also under the ban will fall operations with cryptocurrency

The European Union imposed new sanctions in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This is stated in the message on the website of the European Commission.
160 people will be subject to new sanctions, including 14 Russian "oligarchs' and 146 members of the Russian Federation Council, who have ratified agreements on" friendship and cooperation "of Russia with the" DNL/LNR. " Their names are not clarified.
Sanctions will also affect exports to Russia of technologies of maritime navigation and radio communications, and the Russian maritime register of shipping will be included in the list of state-owned enterprises, which are subject to restrictions on funding.
Moreover, the European Union will extend current restrictions regarding loans, credits, and stock exchanges of Russia in a way that includes operations with cryptocurrencies and other crypto assets.
At the same time, the European Union imposes sanctions against the Belarus bank sector. For example, the Bank of Belarus Republic Development, Belagroprombank, and Bank Dabrabut will be disconnected from SWIFT.
All operations with Belarus Central Bank, related to reserves and assets management, and also connected to the funding of trade with Belarus or investment in its economy, are prohibited. Also, the EU prohibited the euro currency supply.
Furthermore, the European Union forbids listing and operations with shares of Belarusian state-owned enterprises in European stock exchanges (from April, 12th), selling euro-denominated securities to Belarusian clients, maintaining Belarusian clients' accounts in central securities depositories, and receiving deposits that exceed 100.000 euros from the citizens of Belarus.
As a reminder, Russia became the world leader in terms of the number of sanctions imposed against it. Before February, 22nd, Russia posesses the 2nd place after Iran, which had 3.616 restrictions at that moment. Since February, there have been imposed 2.778 new sanctions against Russia. The general amount of restrictions reached 5.532. Russia is noticebly ahaed of Iran now.
