Zelensky signs a law on the cancellation of benefits for the import of goods and cars

What happened? President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law No. 7418, which provides for the return of customs duties and VAT on imported goods and customs clearance of cars.
Source. This was announced by the head of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev.
Details. It is noted that the law enters into force on July 1.
“Let me remind you that the law exempts electric cars from any taxes,” Hetmantsev noted.
Previously. On June 21, the Verkhovna Rada voted for the return of customs duty and value added tax on imported goods and customs clearance of cars.
