Damage to the Ukrainian environment for half a year amounts to UAH 742.7 million
Over 32.6 million hryvnias taken from violators
It is informed that in the first half of 2022, damage to the natural environment of Ukraine reached 742.7 million UAH.

Details. Inspectors conducted 5,350 control measures in the field of environmental protection and found 304 evidence of crimes against the natural environment. The materials were sent to law enforcement agencies. As a result, 152 criminal proceedings were launched.
The subsurface of Ukraine suffered the most – the amount of damage exceeds more than UAH 463 million. This is connected with the illegal extraction of natural resources of the state.
In total, more than UAH 32.6 million were taken from violators in this area.
