It became known that the russians stole about 70,000 tons of newly harvested grain from Ukrainian farmers in the Luhansk Oblast.
Source. The head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai.
Details. It is noted that the farmers managed to harvest the crops on time despite the absence of most of the necessary equipment, which was stolen by russians in the spring.
A Kuban company nationalised the harvest, which belonged to Nibulon LLC and Agroton PJSC enterprises. Before the beginning of the russian invasion, these agricultural formations were considered to be the most powerful enterprises in the oblast.
“The specific weight within the total volume of early grain production of each of these enterprises reached more than 10 percent,” added the head of Regional Military Administration.
Background. Recently russia decided to simplify customs control in temporarily occupied territories. It was proposed to simplify the import of agricultural products and food into the russian federation, which actually facilitated the stealing of Ukrainian grain.
