Details. Eyewitnesses also reported several explosions in Novofedorivka in Saky Rayon in western Crimea. “The smoke is visible both onshore and offshore. There have been no official statements yet,” Kryminform notes.
According to the report, the so-called “authorities” of Crimea have confirmed the fact of the explosions in Novofedorivka, but have not yet named the reasons for their occurrence.
Planes that attack the south of Ukraine with missiles usually take off from this airfield, Ukrainska Pravda notes.
The Ministry of Defense of the russian federation states that “aviation ammunition detonated” at the airfield near Novofedorivka. It is noted that “no one was injured and the aircraft equipment at the airfield was not damaged” as a result.
