The occupiers launched 7 missile and 25 airstrikes on Ukraine over the past day – the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
At the same time, the Defence Forces hit almost 40 russian strongholds

What happened? The occupiers launched 7 missile and 25 airstrikes during the day of September 6. For this purpose, russian pilots took off from the runways about 20 times.

Details. Due to the enemy strike infrastructure of Kharkiv, Velyki Prohody, Bilohirka, Kostromka, Sukhy Stavok and Bezimenne settlements was affected.
The situation has not changed significantly in the Volynia and Polesia directions.
In other directions, the enemy fired at military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, cannon and rocket artillery, namely:
- on the Siveria axis, mortar fire was recorded in the vicinity of Hay settlement in Chernihiv Oblast and Volfyne, Zapsillia, Manukhivka and Stukalivka settlements in Sumy Oblast;
- on the Kharkiv axis, the enemy shelled the areas of Prudianka, Chornohlazivka, Myronivka, Velyki Prohody, Ruska and Cherkaska Lozova, Ruski and Cherkaski Tyshky settlements;
- in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Tetianivka, Kryva Luka, Spirne, Vesele, and Hryhorivka;
- in the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers fired from mortars, tanks, cannon and rocket artillery close to Bakhmutske, Soledar, Bakhmut, New York, Zaytseve, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk and Yakovlivka settlements;
- in the Avdiyivka direction – Avdiyivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Tonenke, and Pervomayske were fired upon;
- the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions in the Novopavlivka sector, but shelled the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar, Solodke, Shevchenko, Zolota Nyva, Pavlivka and Vremivka;
- in the Zaporizhzhia sector, the occupiers used mortars, cannon and rocket artillery near Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, Bilohirya, Novopil, Vilne Pole and Shevchenko settlements;
- in the South Buh direction, the enemy fired from cannon and rocket artillery along the entire contact line. In addition, the enemy carried out aerial reconnaissance by UAVs. There were 34 flights in total.
The General Staff adds that private military contractors operating in the temporarily occupied territories, in particular, in Oleksandrivka settlement, Kharkiv Oblast, are experiencing significant casualties. Individual units count more than 40 percent seriously wounded and killed. The bodies of many of the dead have not been identified and are counted as missing.
The occupiers, however, continue to focus their efforts on establishing full control over the territory of the Donetsk oblast, maintaining the temporarily captured areas of Kherson Oblast, part of Kharkiv Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Mykolaiv Oblast.
Meanwhile, units of the Defence Forces hold their positions and prevent the enemy from advancing deep into the territory of Ukraine. The AFU managed to successfully repulse enemy attacks in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, Zaytseve, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna and Opytne settlements.
In addition, the Ukrainian defenders carried out 27 airstrikes on 40 strongholds of the ruscists, places of accumulation of their manpower and equipment. One ammunition depot was destroyed.
Missile troops and artillery of ground troops also inflicted strikes on the enemy – 7 command points and 13 objects of concentration of enemy manpower were hit. Radar and communication stations, bridge and pontoon crossings, 3 ammunition depots and fuel and lubricants of different levels fell into the affected area. The General Staff explains that thereby, the combat and logistical capabilities of the occupiers were significantly reduced.
Previously. Mind reported that the AFU had taken fire control of crossings in Kherson Oblast. The Ukrainian military had eliminated 35 russian soldiers and 4 infantry fighting vehicles.
