Details. “Several explosions occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district – in the centre of the capital. All the relevant services are on their way to the scenes of attacks. Details will be later,” the message reads.
Svitlana Vodolaha, the spokeswoman of the State Emergency Service, confirmed in a comment to Hromadske that as a result of several strikes on the capital, there were injured and killed people.
The movement of trains on the red line of the Kyiv metro has been suspended, while all underground stations are operating as shelters, the metro reports.
In addition, Teatralna–Zoloti Vorota interchange stations are temporarily closed.
“We urge you not to ignore the air raid sirens and go to the nearest shelters. The resumption of the Metro's operation will be announced additionally,” the statement says.
