What happened? In the temporarily occupied Severodonetsk, Luhansk Oblast, the invaders are destroying the Azot chemical plant, “cutting up” the equipment and taking the most valuable hardware to russia.

Details. “Regarding Severodonetsk, if in the summer after the occupation there were loud statements about the resumption of the work of Severodonetsk Azot plant, now it is clear to everyone that they are not capable of anything else but cutting up more or less valuable equipment and taking it to a related enterprise located in russia,” the official said. He added that the occupiers were “irrevocably destroying the enterprise”.
It is worth noting that Azot is the third largest ammonia producer in Ukraine and one of the largest chemical enterprises in Europe producing nitrogen fertilisers, methanol, acetic acid, vinyl acetate and its derivatives, acetylene, formalin, catalysts, household chemicals, and other chemical products.
