What happened? Ukraine exported another 432,000 tonnes of grain by sea during the holiday weekend.

Details. During this time, 9 vessels left the ports of Greater Odesa. They will take Ukrainian agricultural products to the countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe. In particular, the bulk carrier HONORINE with 27,500 tonnes of Ukrainian grain is on its way to Tunisia, and VELVET with 57,000 tonnes of wheat was sent to Bangladesh.
Currently, 630,000 tonnes of food are loaded on 19 vessels in the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi. No new ships are expected to arrive to the west for loading.
The agency emphasises that the russian side is still slowing down inspections and ships have to wait on average more than a month to pass the Bosporus. At the same time, the bulk carrier T-Med with wheat on board has been waiting for inspection since the beginning of November last year.
Currently, 94 ships are waiting for inspection: 69 empty vessels for loading, and 25 loaded with agricultural products. In total, since August 1, 620 vessels have left the ports of Odesa Oblast, exporting 16.5 million tonnes of Ukrainian food.
