Borrell: EU to train over 11 thousand Ukrainian Armed Forces by the end of March
Another 30,000 soldiers will be trained by the end of the year

The European Union will complete combat training for more than 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of this month.
Upon completion of the training, Ukrainian defenders will be ready to go to the front immediately, said Josep Borrell, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
In addition, the EU mission will conduct training for 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of the year.
According to Borrell, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be taught how to operate tanks supplied by NATO member states.
The EU High Representative also provided details on a new €2 billion package of EU military assistance to Ukraine.
"We are talking about supplies from existing stocks, for which I propose to allocate 1 billion euros from the European Peace Fund, the second step is joint purchases of 155 mm ammunition, for which another 1 billion euros should be allocated, and the transfer of our industry to martial law," Borrell said.
