Verkhovna Rada Committee supports Shkarlet's resignation from the MoES
Director of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi may be appointed instead of the scandalous minister
The Verkhovna Rada committee has supported the resignation of Serhiy Shkarlet from the post of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
This was announced by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP of the Holos (Voice) party.
No further information was provided. However, earlier it became known that instead of Mr. Shkarlet, the government might appoint Oksen Lisovyi, director of the National Centre "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", as the Head of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Previously. Mr. Shmyhal announced the resignation of Education Minister Shkarlet and several other changes in the government. The Minister for Strategic Industries was going to resign as well.
