It is noted that this is the sixth vessel under the Grain From Ukraine programme. Since the launch of the initiative, the ports of Greater Odesa have shipped 170,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat to Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen, and Kenya.
In total, 845 vessels have exported 25.7 million tonnes of Ukrainian food to Asia, Europe, and Africa since the launch of the grain corridor.
Previously. Ukrzaliznytsia shipped 15% less grain in March than in previous months. This was due to the slowdown of the grain corridor and tighter control at the Polish border.
