MHP Agro Holding ended 2022 with a loss of $231 million
At the same time, in Q4 2022, the agricultural holding received 2.4 times more net profit than in the pre-war year 2021

Ukraine's largest chicken producer, MHP, ended last year with a loss of $231 million compared to $393 million in net profit in 2021.
This is stated in the annual report of the agricultural holding on the London Stock Exchange, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
At the same time, the loss from foreign exchange in the reporting period was $365 million, compared to a foreign exchange gain of $40 million in 2021.
In Q4 2022, the agricultural holding received $38 million in net profit, which is 2.4 times higher than in the fourth quarter of pre-war 2021.
At the same time, EBITDA decreased by 12% to $138 million in Q4.
The company's export revenue for the quarter reached 64% ($491 million), compared to 61% ($1.6 billion) for the whole of 2022 and 53% ($1.26 billion) for the whole of 2021.
In 2022 compared to 2021, the company's chicken production capacity decreased by 8% to 697,071 tonnes, while the company's European operating segment's chicken production capacity increased by 11% to 124,040 tonnes.
