Elon Musk created a company for the development of artificial intelligence and will develop his own chatbot
It will compete with the already known ChatGPT

Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and CEO of Tesla, has created a new company X.AI that will deal with artificial intelligence, The Verge reports.
The company was registered in Nevada last month, with Musk as the CEO and Jared Birchall, director of Musk's family office, as the secretary.
Documents obtained by The Verge indicate that Musk registered the company on March 9, 2023.
In an interview with Fox, Musk confirmed that he would launch an artificial intelligence platform called TruthGPT, challenging similar products from Microsoft and Google.
"I'm going to launch something that I call TruthGPT, or an AI that will seek the truth as much as possible and try to understand the nature of the universe," Musk said.
The billionaire criticized Microsoft-backed OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, claiming that in his opinion, OpenAI is now a "closed-source commercial organization."
In addition, Musk accused Google co-founder Larry Page of not taking the dangers associated with artificial intelligence seriously.
Earlier, Musk, together with a group of experts and company executives, called for a 6-month suspension of artificial intelligence development due to alleged potential risks to society.
Musk said that "AI is more dangerous than improper design of airplanes, or maintenance in production, or poor quality car manufacturing."
"AI has the potential to destroy civilization," he added.
Background. As reported, the United States is studying possible rules to regulate artificial intelligence systems.
