The amount of compensation will be calculated by a commission using a special formula

The government has launched the second stage of the eRestoration program, which concerns the calculation of compensation for housing destroyed during the war. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in his Telegram channel.
He explained how the funds could be spent.
"First, for the construction of a house. In this case, the funds will be paid directly to the account.
Secondly, for the purchase of an apartment or other residential premises using a housing certificate," he said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the amount of compensation would be calculated by the commission according to a special formula that would take into account the region where the destroyed object was located, the year of its construction, its area, etc.
At the same time, according to him, the amount of compensation is set at a level not lower than the cost of building a dwelling of the corresponding area according to its location.
Background. As reported, the IMF and Ukraine had reached a staff-level agreement on a $15.6 billion Extended Fund Facility program.
