The water level in Kherson Oblast is decreasing.
This is reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Oblast State Administration.
According to his data, the water level in Kherson currently stands at 5.35 metres, however, the indicator dropped by 20 cm overnight.
As of now, 32 populated areas in Kherson Oblast remain flooded, with 3,624 homes submerged. A total of 2,352 residents and 550 animals have been able to be evacuated.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that occupiers shelled evacuation points in Kherson: one person died. The shelling started exactly during the evacuation of citizens whose houses were flooded.
