The Ukrainian Defence Forces have liberated 130 km² of territory since the beginning of the offensive. At the same time, last week, 17 km² were liberated on the Melitopol and Berdiansk axes.
This was reported by Hanna Maliar, Deputy Minister of Defence.
"Over the past week, as a result of improving the operational (tactical) situation and equalising the frontline, the area of liberated territories has increased by 17 square km," she noted.
In addition, Maliar added, the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine on the Tavria front performed 8,783 firing tasks last week. The enemy's losses were eight times higher than Ukraine's.
