UkrHydroEnergy is planning to launch the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station in Zaporizhzhia at full capacity.
This was announced by Ihor Syrota, the company's CEO.
"We will be making calculations about what needs to be done for this, what measures need to be taken so that the station can operate at full capacity," he stated.
According to him, Ukrhydroenergo continues to work with a design institute on the construction of temporary dams on the lower and upper pond of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station, so that they can immediately start building temporary dams on the Kakhovka reservoir after its deoccupation.
Background. Earlier, the Dnieper River has returned to its bed in Kherson. It is specified that the water level in Kherson fell by 4 cm over the day, and the total decrease since the Kakhovka HPP was undermined by the occupiers is 5.35 m.
