Epicentre granted preferential status at customs
The company now expects to handle customs formalities for goods on a priority basis

The company Epicentre K has received an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status, which gives the enterprise the opportunity for priority and faster access at customs.
This was announced by the press service of the State Customs Service.
From now on, the company has several advantages, including the handling of customs formalities for goods on a priority basis and reduced forms and volumes of customs control for the company's goods by an automated risk management system.
Background. Reminder: In October 2022, amendments were made to the Customs Code of Ukraine, which, among other things:
- removed restrictions on enterprises that can claim AEO status, depending on their role in the international supply chain;
- eliminated provisions on establishing a minimum term for customs authorities' compliance assessment of the enterprise and the number of simultaneously submitted applications for authorisation that may be under consideration by customs authorities;
- provided for the possibility of considering existing enterprise authorisations for compliance assessment purposes;
- significantly reduced solvency and liquidity ratios during the period of martial law.
Currently, there are 14 applications for AEO authorisations at various stages of consideration by the State Customs Service.
