French President Emmanuel Macron, at the NATO summit in Vilnius, announced that his country will increase military aid to Ukraine to support its counteroffensive.

"I have decided to increase the supply of arms and equipment to give Ukrainians the ability to strike deep," Macron said. However, he declined to specify the exact number of missiles.
The statement noted that, according to a diplomatic source from France, about 50 missiles were expected to be provided by the European manufacturer MBDA. In addition, a French military source reported that a significant number of missiles would come from the country's military stockpile.
