Pentagon reports that US production of shells has doubled

The United States has almost doubled the production of 155 mm artillery shells and intends to further increase the production of this ammunition.

He noted that as of today, the United States has provided Ukraine with more than 2 million units of such ammunition.
"We have also ensured a rapid increase in the production of shells – from 14 thousand per month as of February 2022 to about 24 thousand per month. We plan to reach a level in excess of 80,000 per month in the coming year," said the US Department of Defense spokesman.
According to him, Washington will continue to cooperate with Kyiv by providing it with weapons and military equipment.
