Source. This was reported by RBC.
We are talking about the Lithuanian Football Federation, the Swedish Football Union, the Danish Football Union, as well as the football federations of England, Ukraine, Poland and Latvia. The statements of these football organizations emphasize that their member teams will not play against Russians, regardless of age or the results of the draw.
Earlier, the UEFA committee announced its decision to allow Russian youth football teams to participate in the competition, explaining that children should not be responsible for what "only adults are responsible for."
According to the decision of the UEFA committee, the Russians should play without the flag and anthem of the Russian Federation, and not on the territory of Russia.
At the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, UEFA decided to suspend Russian athletes from international competitions in accordance with the IOC's recommendation.
Earlier, UEFA President Alexander Čeferin said that Russian clubs and national teams would be able to return to competitions under the auspices of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) only after the war in Ukraine ends. He added that there were no other options for returning.
