Ukraine launches mass production of Ratel S kamikaze combat robot
This technology allows an operator to blow up an enemy tank or dugout from a safe location

Ukraine has started production of the Ratel S ground combat robot. It has already passed field tests and has been put into mass production.
Source. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Soldiers use it as a mobile warhead carrying anti-tank mines or a combat module. Thanks to the technology, an operator can blow up an enemy tank or dugout from a safe place," the Vice Prime Minister said.
Footage of field tests of the new development appeared on Ukrainian telegram channels.
The robot has a maximum speed of up to 24 km/h, a range of 6 km, and can work for 2 hours without recharging.
The start of testing of a ground drone capable of delivering an anti-tank mine under the tank's bottom was reported back in May this year. Experts say that the robot's advantages include simplicity and cheapness, while its disadvantages include a wheeled base that can make it difficult to use in snowy winters or off-road conditions.
Similar developments of ground-based kamikaze robots are underway in Russia, but there have been no reports of their launch into production.
