National Council bans broadcasting of 16 video services in Ukraine that allowed watching Russian TV and movies
Providers and manufacturers of TV receivers and equipment will have to take appropriate measures

On Thursday, the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting banned the broadcasting of 16 video services in Ukraine that allow watching Russian TV channels and movies.
Source. This was reported by the press service of the National Council on Thursday.
According to information on the regulator's website, the list includes 24TV, Amediateka, Baskino, Filmix, HD REZKA, KINOGO, Kinokrad, Kinotochka, KinoZapas, Kion, Viju, GuideOnline, Lime HD TV, Smotreshka, Tricolor Cinema and TV Online, and Digital TV 20 Channels for Free.
The reasons for including the relevant media resources in the services of the aggressor state were the inconsistency of the ownership structure of these entities and/or their full or predominant focus on the territory and audience of the aggressor state.
The National Council promises to inform the NCCIR (National Commission for the State Regulation of Electronic Communications and Radio Frequency Spectrum), digital distribution platforms for mobile applications, manufacturers of television receivers and terminal equipment, the NBU, as well as international payment systems to take response measures in relation to the relevant media resources.
Earlier, Russian OTT services Ivi, Tvigle, Premier, Start, More.tv and Okko were added to the list of services of the aggressor state.
