Azerbaijan is likely to produce shells for Ukraine - media

Some of the ammunition for the Ukrainian army is probably manufactured in Azerbaijan. This was reported by The Moscow Times.
The day before, Ukrainian military journalist Roman Bochkala published photos and videos on his channel of the production of 122 mm shells for D-30 howitzers. Bochkala noted that the ammunition was being produced "in one of the partner countries" without specifying which one.
In one of the photos, RTVI found a board with the logo of Palladium Defense and Security Solutions, founded in 2014. The company's office is located in Baku. Although it is not affiliated with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry, the company has regularly won tenders from the Interior Ministry, the Special State Protection Service, and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
The company's main activities include the supply of integrated defense and security solutions for the civilian market and law enforcement agencies. Palladium Defense and Security Solutions LLC has partners in several countries, including the UAE, Georgia, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
It is not known how much ammunition Azerbaijan supplies to Ukraine.
South Korea is the largest supplier of shells to Ukraine after the United States. According to the Washington Post, in 41 days, this country has delivered more than 300,000 155-mm shells by sea and air.
South Korea currently has one of the largest stockpiles of 155mm shells in the world. While the European Union has developed an initiative to produce and purchase one million shells for Ukraine, it has not yet been able to find a partner to implement this plan.
Background. As reported, the United States is negotiating with Greece to buy shells for Ukraine. It is about buying 75,000 artillery shells.
