The Netherlands joins IT coalition of countries helping Ukraine to fight hackers
The new member of the coalition has already contributed 10 million euros

The Netherlands has joined an IT coalition that provides cybersecurity support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.
"At a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format, another country, the Netherlands, joined the IT coalition. The new member of the coalition has already made a contribution of 10 million euros," the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
In addition, Denmark has allocated 91 million Danish kroner (more than 12 million euros) for the cyber defense of Ukraine within the IT coalition during the work of the Contact Group.
"Technology can help turn a positional war into a maneuver war. The IT Coalition aims to provide the necessary digital basis for the deployment of any new technological solutions. I am grateful to our partners who continue to support us in every area, especially in IT, cyber defense and innovation," said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Kateryna Chornohorenko.
The IT Coalition is an ad hoc group of states within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format) led by Estonia and Luxembourg, which focuses on providing support to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the field of IT, communications and cybersecurity.
In addition to Ukraine and the Netherlands, 11 other countries are members of the initiative: Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom.
