As part of the Good Governance Fund's Innovative Technologies Ecosystem project, IT Ukraine Association carries out research on the challenges faced by Ukrainian tech companies that need support in implementing innovative solutions.

The project's goal is to develop the innovation ecosystem in Ukraine and promote promising technological solutions that are relevant to the Ukrainian market with the potential to be exported to the UK.

An important step towards achieving the project's objectives is the organisation of workshops that will bring together Ukrainian and British IT specialists to jointly develop solutions and ideas for the development of innovations in three areas: Agritech, MedTech, and AI.

Open Call: Technology workshops with British experts

Key industries: Agritech, MedTech, AI.

Description: There will be three workshops, during which the following issues will be considered and analysed, in particular:

1. AgriTech:

• Creation of R&D practices in the agriculture. British experts see an opportunity in long-term support for planning and development of R&D activities in Ukraine to support the recovery of the agricultural sector. The Workshop will be attended by representatives of the British organisation AgriTech Centre/Catapult with expertise in building an innovative ecosystem in the agricultural sector. The organisation's experts have already been working with a wide range of innovative technologies and solutions that can be of use to Ukrainian technology companies and businesses.

• Partnership between the logistics industries of Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Potential cooperation will be considered with the Digital Supply Chain Hub, an ecosystem of digital innovation that enables individuals and organisations to collaborate on improving and optimising supply chains through the implementation of digital solutions.

Date and time of the event: 14 March (Thursday), 16.00 – 18.00.

2. MedTech:

•  Challenges related to supply chain and regulatory approval in bionic prosthesis manufacturing. Identifying the potential for cooperation with the UK and discovering new business opportunities in collaboration with experts from the UK's Health Ageing which focuses on sharing experiences and best practices in healthy ageing technologies.

Date and time: 15 March (Friday), 16.00 – 18.00.

3. Artificial intelligence:

 The use of artificial intelligence in professional services. The workshops will be attended by British experts involved in the development of the Next Generation Professional and Financial Services Programme. This programme helps various sectors of professional services, including accounting, law, insurance, lending, advisory and payment services, to develop and use digital technologies.

Date and time: 18 March (Monday), 16.00 – 18.00.

Artificial Intelligence – until 14.00, 18 March.
