The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the wanted list.
According to the ministry's database, Zelensky is wanted under a criminal article, but it is not specified under which one.
Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has also been added to the wanted list, according to Russian propaganda media.
Earlier, Russian authorities had already put Ukrainian officials and politicians on the wanted list. The day before, the media reported that the Russian Interior Ministry's database contained the cards of former Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak, former National Bank Governor Stepan Kubiv, and National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko.
In December 2023, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, was put on Russia's wanted list.
In March this year, Russia put the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, on the wanted list. Russian judges even sentenced Malyuk to 2 months' imprisonment for committing terrorist acts.
