Explosion at a training ground in the Czech Republic where Ukrainian soldiers are training: one killed and one wounded
Seven soldiers and one civilian have been taken to hospital

An explosion has occurred at a military training ground in the eastern Czech Republic, the Czech army said on Monday (17 June).
"We are dealing with a serious incident in the Libava training area, where an unidentified type of ammunition exploded. Unfortunately, there are casualties at the scene," the army said in a statement on Twitter.
One member of the Czech armed forces was killed and eight other people were injured. According to a statement from the Czech army, seven soldiers and one civilian employee of the training ground were taken to hospital.
A Czech armed forces spokesman told AFP that the injured soldiers "were not foreigners".
The explosion was caused by the detonation of a munition.
It is noted that a rescue helicopter flew to the scene. The incident is being investigated by the military police.
The Libavske military training ground is located near the town of Olomouc, about 250 km east of Prague. It has been operating since 1949 and covers an area of about 235.5 square kilometres, the Czech news portal Idnes reports.
Training of the Ukrainian military at the Libava training ground began after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022. It is not known whether the training was taking place at the time of the explosion.
