Place of Birth

Mykhailo Pyrtko was born in Lviv region, Ukraine.

Education

He studied at Lopatyn Secondary School. He obtained higher education at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where he earned a Specialist degree in Law (2013) and a Master’s degree in Finance (2015). He continued his postgraduate studies in the history of law.

In 2021, Mykhailo Pyrtko earned a PhD in Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In 2023, he obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering and Energy Security.

Fluent in Ukrainian, English, Spanish, and Russian.

Career

Mykhailo Pyrtko began his professional career as a lawyer in Lviv and Kyiv, specializing in corporate and tax law. He later headed legal departments, overseeing investment deals and protecting business interests.

Between 2013 and 2018, he served as CEO in various companies, responsible for strategic planning, partner negotiations, and financial management.

From 2016 to 2019, he led a group of companies engaged in the construction of solar power plants, equipment supply, and legal support for energy projects.

Since 2021, he has chaired the supervisory board of the venture fund Kharrikein, which invests in real estate and energy projects.

In this capacity, he has often acted as a mediator between international partners and the Ukrainian market, contributing to joint project implementation and investment attraction.
