China is ready to play a constructive role in Ukrainian situation’s adjustment

What happened. Wang Yì, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chinese Republic and the member of State Council, shared his opinion regarding the situation in Ukraine with Foreign Ministers of France and Italy during an online meeting on Tuesday, March, 10th.

Details. Wang Yi supported Xi Jinping’s, who is the head of state, viewpoint concerning respecting of sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, necessity of following UN Charter principles, and urgency of international attention to the keeping of safety.
According to this statement, proclaimed by the Chinese President during the virtual summit of Chinese, French and German leaders, China is ready to participate in strenthening of interaction between different sides of the conflict and can play a constructive role in peaceful adjustment of Ukrainian crisis.
Wang Yi said that russian federation and Ukraine have already conducted three rounds of negotiations. Despite both sides have obvious disagreements, hope for peace will increase with each following step.
China hopes that the international community will support negotiations between Ukraine and russia by making all necessary conditions for them.
