What happened. Russian state holding Rosatom, which unites several hundred nuclear industry enterprises of the aggressor state, including NPPs, participates in a raider capture of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
Source. Such reports are coming from the "Energoferma" website with reference to the acting President of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine "Energoatom" Petro Kotin.
Details. "A group of civilians arrived in Energodar today; we managed to identify the chief engineer of the Rostov NPP and deputy chief engineer of the Balkanov NPP among them. There were 8 more people, who tried to take control over the Zaporizhzhia NPP," Petro Kotin says.
The head of the operator of Ukrainian NPPs informs that the representatives of the Rosatom were not allowed to Zaporizhzhia NPP. On-air of the national TV marathon UArazom, he stated that Energoatom had prepared an address to the relevant international organizations, including IAEA, to pay attention to the role and participation of "Rosatom" in the aggressive actions towards the Ukrainian NPPs.
He also noted that before the visit of those civilians to the plant, another group of people arrived, who called themselves the representatives of the so-called civilian-military administration, never gave their names and pronounced the Zaporizhzhia NPP the territory of Russia falling under the authority of "Rosatom."
"These statements are complete nonsense, but that's what they claim. Our personnel, in the meantime, has to work with barrels pressed to their heads. There are many soldiers and equipment on site of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and Energodar," the head of the "Energoatom" states.
