Details. This document aimed at receiving the permission for mass logging of Ukrainian forests, trees, booshes, and green zones. They plan to cut down wood regardless of age, the form of property, and the category of land.
Moreover, the Russian Federation plans to sell wood that was not used for Armed Forced needs. They are going to spend the earned profit for Army supplying.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Department says that Ukrainian forests located in occupied territories are in danger.
“Total logging of our green zones is one more example of occupiers crimes that can lead to ecocide. Previously, a similar situation took place in Ukraine during the nazi occupation when invaders destroyed and exported material and natural resources”, – The Main Intelligence Department says.
