What happened? UN Secretary General António Guterres has sent a request to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and russian president vladimir putin to meet in Kyiv and moscow.
Source. This was announced by spokesman for UN Secretary General Stéphane Dujarric, reports “The Hill”.
Details. In separate letters to Zelensky and Putin, Guterres said he “would like to discuss urgent steps to bring about peace in Ukraine.”
As of April 20, his spokesman, Stéphane Dujarric, said the UN had not received any response.
