The mayor of Vilnius: “Ukrainians need window glass – let's help them”
Remigijus Šimašjus called on residents and companies to collect window glass and double-glazings

What happened? Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Šimašius called on the citizens and the companies that work there to collect window glass and double-glazing to rebuild housing in Ukraine damaged by enemy shellings.
Source. The mayor of the Lithuanian capital announced this on his Facebook page.
In detail. According to him, mayors and residents of Ukrainian cities are asking for help in restoring windows, since many houses have holes covered with cardboard instead of windows.
“Ukraine needs window glass – let’s help them … If you are a business, you may have windows from your renovated house. If you make glass, you can contribute to helping Ukraine. I have already invited companies from the Vilnius municipality, the community of developers and members of the Association builders of Lithuania. Thanks to everyone who quickly responded,” Šimašius wrote.
The glass will be delivered to Ukraine by the self-government of the Lithuanian capital.
