Details. “Information about the subversive activities was obtained promptly – the edition of the newspaper “Transnistria” released on May 2, 2022 with the alleged official appeal of the people of Transnistria to putin for protection from the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. By declaring this provocation, the actions of enemy forces are discredited,” the operational command South reported.
The available photo of the “special edition” page shows the appeal of local residents to putin with a request to “involve the russian army” in Transnistria and reports of “bloody terrorist attacks on Transnistrians during the May holidays”.
For his part, the editor-in-chief of Transnistria Oleksandr Karasiov denies the authenticity of this page, saying that it is a fake and the publishing house has not prepared such a “special edition”.
“Only the Saturday edition was released today, the next edition will be released on May 5. There weren't any additional special editions,” Karasiov said.
