NATO predicts a tougher offensive by russia in the coming weeks
russia's current assault on Donbas has not yet gained momentum

In the coming weeks, Ukraine must be ready for a tougher offensive by russian troops. NATO is talking about even greater destruction of important infrastructure and residential areas.
Source. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in his interview with Welt am Sonntag.
Details. “We should be prepared for the russian offensive against Ukraine and even greater brutality, even greater losses and even greater destruction of vital infrastructure and residential areas,” Stoltenberg said.
He also noted that russia's current offensive in Donbass has not yet gained momentum, as Ukrainian troops are vigorously defending themselves.
“We see a strong contrast between russian and Ukrainian forces: Ukrainian troops are brave and know what they are fighting for. russians suffer from bad leadership, low morale, and many do not really know what they are fighting for,” said Stoltenberg.
At the same time, he warned that it is necessary for NATO to be ready for the war in Ukraine, which “may last months or even years.”
“In the long run, Ukraine can not only defend itself with weapons from the times of the Soviet Union, but also switch to modern Western weapons. Only in this way Kyiv will be able to successfully prevent the russian invasion forever,” the NATO Secretary General stressed.
