The UN Secretary General sees a way to avoid a food crisis in the world only with help of supplies from russia and Ukraine
The United States is working with Ukraine and the United Nations on resolving the issue of Ukrainian grain supplies

It is informed that the world community is able to solve the problem of food shortages, but only if there are supplies from Ukraine, russia and belarus.
Source. This was announced by UN Secretary General António Guterres at a ministerial meeting in New York, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Details. According to him, “there is enough food in the world, but there is no effective solution to the food crisis without reintegrating Ukraine's food production, as well as the food and fertiliser produced by Russia and Belarus, into world markets,” he said
Guterres called on russia to “guarantee the safe export of grain from Ukrainian ports.” “Alternative routes can be considered, but they will not solve the problem,” he added.
He stressed that “food and fertilizers from russia should have unimpeded access to the world market.”
In addition, the United States, along with its allies, as well as Ukraine and the United Nations, are working on solving the problem of delivering Ukrainian grain to other countries, said Jake Sullivan, the US President's national security adviser. He added that the United States supports efforts aimed at simplifying the delivery process.
