The US Senate approves Bridget Brink as Ambassador to Ukraine

It is informed that the US Senate unanimously approved the candidacy of Bridget Brink for the post of Ambassador to Ukraine.

Details. Bridget Brink has been working in the US State Department since 1996.
Since 2019, the diplomat has held the position of US Ambassador to Slovakia, and previously served as Deputy Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Uzbekistan and Georgia.
It is noted that this is an “important position” that has been vacant for three years.
