What happened? The Luhansk region suffers from shellings of russian occupation forces. The city of Rubizhne was practically destroyed by enemy shells.

Source. This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai on his Facebook page.

Details. “Rubizhne divided the fate of Mariupol. The industrial city has been completely destroyed, there are no surviving buildings, and many houses cannot be restored. There are cemeteries in the yards,” the statement says.

Before the war, more than 60,000 people lived there, worked in factories, in the financial sphere, and in developed small businesses.

“Today, the citizens are divided into three categories: those who were evacuated to safe cities in Ukraine or abroad; those who were deported to russia or the occupied territories; those who are still held hostage by Kadyrov's people, and live in the basements of the houses,” Haidai says.

“The pillaged burnt brick boxes, that once were houses, – they are now OUR Rubizhne. We will build it almost from scratch. We will win. There is no doubt. We will punish everyone for the deaths of our people and the destruction of our cities. People of Rubizhne, be sure – we will rebuild everything!” the head of Luhansk Regional State Administration emphasized.
