What happened? Ukrainian military regains control over a half of Severodonetsk city.
Source. This was announced by the head of the Luhansk civil-military administration Serhiy Haidai.
Details. According to him, the russians continue to attack the city and the Lysychansk–Bakhmut highway.
“The russians controlled 70% of Severodonetsk, but within two days they were repulsed, and the city was divided 50/50. The occupiers lost a huge number of personnel, eight russians were taken prisoner,” Haidai wrote.
All reserves of the enemy army are aimed at capturing Severodonetsk and the route Lysychansk–Bakhmut.
Background. Haidai says that the russians shell Ukrainian positions, then move forward, but Ukrainian defenders push them back, and then the scheme is repeated.
