The post-war reconstruction of Ukraine will consist of three stages – Shmyhal
The basis of Ukraine's recovery is people, economy and infrastructure

What happened? The recovery plan for Ukraine consists of three stages, and after the victory in the war, thousands of reconstruction projects will have to be implemented.
Source. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during his speech at the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine in the Swiss city of Lugano, Ukrinform reports.
Details. “Ukraine's recovery plan is divided into three key stages. The first is to restore here and now what is possible and what is critical for people's lives. The second part is a quick recovery, since the number of destroyed objects, even basic infrastructure, is huge. Immediately after the end of hostilities and the victory of Ukraine, it will be necessary to implement thousands of reconstruction projects. The second stage refers to the repair of schools, hospitals, the construction of temporary housing, the revival of the settlements and communities destroyed,” he stated.
“The third stage of this plan is a long-term transformation, it concerns all areas, starting from education, medicine and ending with the “green transition” and the new military-industrial complex,” Shmyhal said.
He stressed that the basis of Ukraine's recovery is people, economy, and infrastructure.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine also mentioned that the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine had drafted 24 volumes of developments. Over 6 weeks, more than 3,000 Ukrainian and international experts, officials, and members of Parliament developed “thousands of pages of what kind of country we are building and how we will restore Ukraine.”
In addition, the head of government emphasized that behind successful examples of recovery always stay international partners who help all along the way.
Shmyhal also stressed that during 130 days of the full-scale invasion russia failed to achieve any objective it had set when unleashing the war against Ukraine.
