What happened? US President Joe Biden signed a decree on the allocation of $400 million in military aid to Ukraine.

Details. According to the memorandum, the US president delegates authority to the Secretary of State to transfer $400 million in aid to Ukraine “in defense articles and services of the Department of Defense, and military education and training.”
The US Department of Defense listed what is included in the new aid package:
- 4 HIMARS artillery missile systems and ammunition for them;
- three tactical equipment recovery vehicles;
- 155 mm caliber artillery ammunition;
- counter-battery radar systems;
- spare parts and other equipment.
In total, the USA has already allocated about $7.3 billion in aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
