The russians attack Odesa port with two missiles – Operational Command South
Two more Kalibr missiles shot down by the air defence forces

What happened? The russians attacked the Odesa sea trade port with Kalibr cruise missiles.
Source. The Operational Command South
Details. Two missiles were shot down by the Ukrainian air defence forces, two hit the infrastructure facilities of the port.
We draw your attention to the fact that this attack on Odesa took place the day after the signing of the Istanbul Agreement on the export of grain and the unblocking of Ukrainian ports.
Mind's Comment. “Most likely, this will not nullify the agreements on grain corridors, but their implementation will remain half-hearted – international companies will weigh military risks and try to find an alternative to the Ukrainian product whenever possible. They can be convinced only with the help of dumping.
In addition the attack on the port of Odesa automatically raised the cost of insurance and brokerage fees for ships entering the Black Sea region.”
Comment. The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko states: “It took less than 24 hours for the russian federation to launch a missile attack on the territory of the port of Odesa to question the agreements and promises it made to the UN and Turkey in the document signed yesterday in Istanbul.
The russian missile is vladimir putin's kick in the teeth of UN Secretary General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, who made enormous efforts to reach an agreement, and to whom Ukraine is grateful.
Ukraine emphasises the need for strict implementation of the agreements regarding the restoration of safe export of Ukrainian agricultural goods by the Black Sea from three ports: Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi. We call on the UN and Turkey to ensure that russia complies with its obligations within the framework of the safe functioning of the grain corridor. In case of non-fulfilment of the agreements reached, russia will bear full responsibility for the deepening of the global food crisis.”
It should be recalled that the agreement stipulates that: “The parties will not carry out any attacks on merchant vessels and other civilian vessels and port facilities participating in this initiative.”
Previously. The russians fired 13 missiles at Kirovohrad Oblast, having hit the Kanatove military airfield and one of the facilities of Ukrainian Railways.
