The russian army strengthens air defence in belarus – General Staff

What happened? The russian army has deployed additional forces and air defence equipment on the territory of Belarus in the Volyn and Poliske directions.

Details. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy fired from cannon and rocket artillery along the entire line of contact. He carried out airstrikes from helicopters near Verkhniy Saltiv and Pryshyb.

In the Siversky direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Hai and Hremyach settlements in the Chernihiv Oblast and Novi Vyrky in the Sumy Oblast with artillery.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out target effects using artillery of various types in the areas of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Brazhkivka, Virnopillya, Sulyhivka, Karnaukhivka, Ridne, Dibrivne, Hrushuvaha, Bohorodychne, Nortsivka, and Zalyman settlements. To complicate the conducting of air reconnaissance, the enemy used radio-electronic warfare complexes.

In the Kramatorsk direction, shelling from tanks, cannon and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of Kramatorsk, Karpivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Pereizne, Hryhorivka, Donetske, Raihorodok, Zvanivka and Ivano-Daryivka settlements. The occupiers launched an airstrike near Spirne by attack aircraft. The enemy tried to carry out an offensive in the Verkhnokamianske region, but had no success and retreated.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired in the vicinity of Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Soledar, Zaytseve, Yakovlivka, Shumy, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Ivanivka, Vesela Dolyna and Bakhmutske. Airstrikes were recorded near Zaitseve and Bakhmut. 

The russians carried out assaults in the directions of Volodymyrivka –Yakovlivka, Pokrovske – Bakhmut, Vidrodzhenya – Vershyna, Novoluhanske. Ukrainian soldiers held their positions and pushed the invaders back.

In the Avdiyivka direction, the occupiers shelled the areas of Avdiyivka, Pavlivka, Pisky, Shevchenko, Netaylove, Nevelske, Oleksandropil and New York with cannon and rocket artillery as well as tanks. Airstrikes were carried out not far from Mykilske, Kamianka, Avdiyivka, Volodymyrivka and Maryinka.

The enemy led offensive battles in the directions of Novobakhmutivka – Krasnohorivka, Spartak – Avdiyivka, Vesele – Pisky, had no success, and retreated.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, shelling from cannon and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of Poltavka, Stepove, Trudove, Novomykhailivka, Biloghirya, Novoandriyivka, Novopil, Volodymyrivka, Novosilka, Mala Tokmachka, Vremivka, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Stepnogorsk, Temyrivka, Charivne settlements. Enemy conducted airstrikes near Vesele, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Novosilka.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy fired from tanks and the entire spectrum of artillery along the contact line and depthward of the defence, trying to hold the occupied positions. It carried out airstrikes near Andriyivka, Bilohirka, and Velyke Artakove. The enemy conducted intensive aerial reconnaissance using the UAVs.

Four sea-based cruise missile carriers are ready to use high-precision weapons.

Ukrainian aviation and missile and artillery units continue to fire at concentrations of manpower, military equipment of russian occupiers, as well as at ammunition depots. Due to numerous losses, the enemy's personnel refuse to fight and resort to sabotage in some areas.
