What happened? The situation in the occupied town of Energodar is dangerous and threatening not only for Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A possible accident at the ZNPP will require the mandatory evacuation of residents of a 50-km zone: more than 200,000 residents of Zaporizhzhia Oblast and more than 200,000 of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The head of the oblast says that appropriate management structures have been created, and the evacuation plan from Energodar and the zone of radiatioactive contamination risk is currently being adjusted with consideration of the military situation. The situation is under control of the central government.
