More than 11 million Ukrainians have left the country since February 24 – UN
At the same time, 4.7 million of them have already returned from abroad

What happened? Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than 11 million citizens have left Ukraine.

Details. The largest number of Ukrainians left for Poland – almost 5.5 million people have crossed the border since February 24. At the same time, 3.4 million of them have already returned to Ukraine. Hungary is in second place in terms of the number of Ukrainian refugees – 1.188 million people went there. There is currently no information on the number of those who have returned.
The organisation also reports on more than 2.2 million refugees from Ukraine who crossed the russian and belarusian borders. The number of Ukrainians who have returned to the Motherland from the territory of the aggressor country is currently unknown.
The Principality of Liechtenstein turned out to be the country with the smallest number of registered emigrants from Ukraine. 272 Ukrainians receive social assistance there.
