All power units of the ZNPP are still disconnected from the power grid

What happened? As of 9:00 a.m. on August 26, all power units of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant are disconnected from the power grid.

Details. The station's own needs for power supply are currently provided through the restored communication line with the power system of Ukraine.
The power line of the ZNPP's output to the energy system of Ukraine has also been restored, work on preparation of the connection of two ZNPP power units to the grid is currently underway.
Background. Yesterday, as a result of russian shelling, the last working communication line of the Zaporizhzhya NPP with the energy system of Ukraine was damaged. Due to this, the last working power units went out of service. The emergency protection system of the power units was activated at the station. The power line was later restored.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that if the diesel generators had not been turned on, if the automation and personnel of the station had not worked after the blackout, then we would already have had to overcome the consequences of the radiation accident.
